Arrive at sunrise or sunset and see the best views of your life. Pico Do Arieiro has quickly become one of the best instagrammable spots in Europe! The above photo was taken 5 minutes from the carpark. If coming for sunrise, make sure you give yourself enough time to get to your desired location (whether that be a viewpoint during the hike, or the carpark viewpoint) BEFORE the sun rises.

Miradouro do Guindaste

Miradouro do Guindaste is a must-see sunrise location in Madeira. As with most spots in Madeira, there is a nearby carpark and the viewpoint is only a few minutes walk away. This picture was taken at sunrise and it was the most magical sunrise I have ever experienced.

Ribeira da Janela

Ribeira da Janela is a magnificent spot in Madeira- definitely a Madeira bucket-list spot. You can absorb the amazing rock formations from this viewpoint or you can walk along the shore.

Praia de Seixal

Praia de Seixal is a must visit location in Madeira whether you are coming for the perfect insta pic or to simply relax. There is a carpark with easy access to the beach and also a couple of cafes and restaurants. And yes, the views are this amazing!

Cascata dos Anjos

Cascata dos Anjos is the best insta spot in Madeira but unfortunately this means that it is extremely busy. You can enjoy a beautiful sunset from here but there will be crowds. Or visit at sunrise and you will probably have the place to yourself.

Miradouro da Ponta do Rosto

Miradouro da Ponta do Rosto is the perfect spot for a sunrise in Madeira. The above photo was taken only a couple minutes from the carpark, but there is also a hike all the way down to the furthest point.

Fanal Forest

Fanal Forest is a movie-worthy location in Madeira. Spend an hour or so wandering around the forest and finding some friendly cows. The weather changes quickly here. We experienced fog, sunshine and rain all within 1 hour.
