I solo travelled to Cappadocia and spent 6 wonderful nights exploring this magical location! During my trip, I stayed in 3 different hotels. As an ex-flight attendant, I have stayed in a lot of hotels – too many to count! I spend most of my time outdoors during my trips, so I view hotels as a place to sleep, shower and leave again. However (and this is a big However), the hotels in Cappadocia were mind-blowing! Never have I stayed in such beautiful, unique and authentic hotels.
Osmanli Cappadocia Hotel

Osmanli Cappadocia Hotel is a beautiful boutique hotel located in Goreme. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Goreme centre. As shown in the pictures above, Osmanli hotel has the most magnificent rooftop terrace – actually they have 2! As it is a small hotel, there were only a small number of guests on the terrace each morning giving everyone a chance to take the perfect insta pic. After soaking in a spectacular sunrise, you can enjoy a buffet breakfast with a huge selection of options ranging from fresh fruits and yogurt, to hot omelettes and warm pastries.
There is also a swimming pool which was a great way to cool down in the afternoon sun. And lets not forget about the resident doggo that requires mandatory pets every time you enter or leave.
Seki Cave Hotel

Seki Cave Hotel took my breath away from the moment I arrived. Seki Cave Hotel is located in Çavuşin, just a 5 minute drive from Goreme. The hotel rooms are carved into caves and were absolutely stunning. There are terraces where you can watch the hot air balloons, or you can use the jacuzzi- just make sure that you book in advance as there is only one! As with all the hotels in Cappadocia, the breakfast was an amazing buffet.
Local Cave House Hotel

Local Cave House Hotel is located right in the centre of Goreme town. It is a 12-bedroom hotel carved into the ridge of a hill, in between 7 fairy chimneys. The heated outdoor pool is the perfect place to send a sunny afternoon. It does have a small terrace to watch the hot air balloons but the view isn’t as expansive or unobstructed as other spots in Cappadocia. While it’s a nice place to catch a glimpse of the balloons rising into the sky, you may not get the full panoramic experience that some higher vantage points or open valleys offer.
